I can't believe I missed The Oscars, and for what? Red Lobster, that's what.

Although this year, I didn't even see half of the films nominated. That just bothers me, folks. Earlier this morning, a young fellow walked up to our table and asked if I wanted to buy any DVDs (wink wink, nudge nudge) and I asked if he had any copies of Babel. I knew he had no idea what I was talking about because...
1. He had this expression like "nigga what?"
2. He replied "whassthat?"
I was pretty damn disappointed.
Oh well, I'm sure I'll get to see it....somehow...(along with Children of Men, The Depearted, and Pan's Labyrinth)

Speaking of movies, Diana and I are supposed to go hang out at the movies this Friday. We're planning to go see either Dreamgirls (is that still showing?) or Bridge to Terabithia. Everyone I've asked says that the movie is surprisingly good. (Terabithia)

Sometimes, life just sucks. No matter what happens or who shows up, everything just dampens your day. The weather in Texas just went from perfect to cloudy and stormy. It's not to say that I blame the weather for my mood, it's just...a chemical imbalance? The only thing I can seem to do is tough it out, depression usually only lasts for two or three days. First off, I'd like to thank my friend Mindy for um...*ahem* helping me with an issue...

Do you ever have those nights where you seriously just do NOT feel like doing anything? That is, school-related. It's not because you're busy or tired or anything, you just don't feel like doing your homework, even though you know it's going to bite you in the ass later.

Yesterday morning was just awesome, I'm talking best morning in months, people. I accidentally set my alarm for five, when it was supposed to be for seven. Well, it wakes me up at five, and I believe it's seven, so I just say "screw it, I'm going to school late." I wake up at seven, believing it was like...ten or something, but then it's actually seven so I'm like "awesome!"

Do you ever realize how dumb you sound when you ramble?

So after waking up, I made my bed and stretched (a procedure that I commit to religiously now that we've moved). I go for a little jog and come back to take a shower. For breakfast, I had cereal and a banana...yes that's right, BREAKFAST. (for the first time in like 16 years)

I go to school, get help on homework I did EARLY, then go hung out with friends. We didn't do anything in PE or History, and at lunch...I find a twenty dollar bill (in my wallet, *sigh*).

Once again, I must sound like an idiot when I ramble.

Tomorrow is TAKS for me along with thousands of other students in the state of Texas. It's a little bit past midnight and I'm staying up so that I can get my laundry done. I probably won't ramble very much on this blog, or will I? What? Oh, the purpose of this site? I just thought that people that I knew in real life would actually like to see my life...in a blog?
